Really tough job market - totally no replies / calls for interviews
Currently in the Civil Service working in Finance and has been in this job for 6 years. I graduated with a Social Science degree but trying to up-skill myself through a Masters in Computer Science and I am completing it this year.
Have submitted multiple job applications but totally no replies at all. I am trying to pivot towards Digital Transformation / Innovation / Digital Strategy roles that are not super technical but more towards a Business Analyst.
In case some peeps say that a Master's is not a guarantee to pivot towards such roles, I know that - I have been participating in Hackathons (have won a couple) to build up some level of practical experience and I have listed them on my resume.
I half-suspect is my resume's narrative, where employers don't really know where to place me, e.g. if I should be in Finance or if I can really work in a technical BA-esque field.
