Retaker who passed DC Feb26 - you can do this!

Fellow goats - I have been lurking here for a while but wanted to post for anyone who may be in a similar position. I failed my first attempt at the DC bar exam back in July '25. I have three kids and work full-time, so finding time to study was always going to be a challenge. I was about 15 points lower than where I needed to be and was devastated. I considered quitting my pursuit of being a lawyer and just being a really educated person doing what I already do.

And then along came Goat Bar Prep. I knew I had to switch things up after blindly following one of the classic bar prep programs. Goat was so much easier to follow and I felt like I was finally making connections to the black letter law and seeing how things fit together. I decided to go back in February and just found out today that I passed with a score high enough to practice in any UBE jurisdiction. I honestly kept checking the message to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

So if you're in a similar position and considering quitting - DON'T. Keep grinding and I promise good news is right around the corner.
