How bad was walking around Seoul pre-EVs?
I spent a few weeks in Seoul and there were a lot of, but thankfully a manageable, amount of cars and trucks spewing exhaust all over making stinkies.
I'm guessing it's way better now, so I'm wondering how bad it was maybe like 10-15+ years ago? Was it rough just walking around?
The ESM and Security repos won't connect if connected to VPN to do update/upgrade
I'm guessing this is due to the attacks, but blocking access when using a VPN is pretty fucking crazy. A lot of people use VPNs with Linux because of obvious security concerns.
You scan your boarding pass to get on the plane. You walk down the walkway to board the plane. There was a person right near the plane entrance with a clipboard (with only 5 non-Korean names on it which I wasn't on) who "randomly" selects people for extra screening. If you're not on the list and are "randomly" selected, the clipboard person writes the seat number down underneath the other names. I was "randomly" selected for extra screening where they took all my electronics out and did some explosion wipe down thing and put it in a machine. I had a lot of shit they had to go through, so in total I saw 8 other people get "randomly" selected, all were conveniently non-Korean looking, on a flight where the majority of people are Korean or Korean looking.
Anyone else have a similar experience? Is this US government policy? Or was this Korean airport staff a bit biased?
