Low fermentation diet is making everything worse
I have intestinal problems due to a poor diet (mainly an excess of wheat flour), and my doctor recommended a very strict low-fermentation diet. My symptoms have barely improved after a month, and now I'm constipated, presumably due to the low fiber intake.
How is this diet supposed to improve my intestinal health? Isn't fiber essential for proper bowel function?
