What instantly makes you lose respect for someone?
reddit.comIs AI actually saving time for anyone in content work?
Hey guys,
I’ve been in SEO/content for a couple of years now, mostly writing blogs and landing pages. Lately we’ve started using AI tools a lot more, and honestly I thought it would make things much faster.
But it hasn’t really turned out that way for me. The drafts are okay to start with, but most of the time I still have to go in and fix a lot — tone sounds off, points feel shallow, sometimes it doesn’t even match what the page is supposed to target.
By the time I clean everything up, it feels like I could’ve just written it myself.
The tricky part is expectations have gone up. Since AI is involved, there’s this assumption that content should be done quicker now, which isn’t always realistic.
Not complaining, just trying to understand if I’m doing something wrong here or if others are seeing the same thing.
Are you guys actually saving time with AI, or still spending a lot of time editing it?
