Spool Gun Process Mode on Lincoln 211i Not Working
Hi Everyone!
I have a Lincoln Power MiG 211i (K6080-1) that I purchased new about a year ago, and a brand
new 100SG Magnum Pro spool gun (K3269-1). Everything is still under the factory
warranty. When the spool gun is attached to the welder, it will not allow
me to switch to the spool gun process mode on the front panel.
I was wondering if I missed something obvious. The manual implies it should just work.
Things we have ruled out and tried:
The spool gun itself (We tried 2 different ones, brand new and used, same
problem)
Dirty contacts or poor connections
The spool gun switch is set to on
The spool gun is fully inserted
Turning on the welder with the spool gun installed
The indicator light is not dead. (Can be seen on startup)
The spool gun is getting power and pushing wire, but it will not switch to
the spool gun process mode.
