I knew about family in North Carolina but Haiti surprised me.

Also European diaspora didn’t appear on my 23andme

Didn´t expect the Grenadine/St. Vincent and Haitian relations as I´m an African American myself

I find the small differences and similarities really fascinating

Since I started building my family tree a few months ago I’ve only found ancestors I believe to be black. I was able to build back to 5-7 generations for a lot of them (earliest born 1796). Of course there’s still missing people who could be another ethnicity but as far as my knowledge goes, or rather I should say every one I’ve found, are black. (Included haplogroups if interested).

Just wanted to share cause nobody around me really care about this too much lol
