Help save Foxxy Brown after being hit by a car.
My name is Foxxy Brown, and I am more than just a dog — I am a lifeline to so many people. Foxxy Brown is a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix who was rescued in February. Foxxy Brown did not have an easy start but even so, from the moment she came into our lives, she showed nothing but love, gentleness, and loyalty. She adores every person and animal she meets, especially her best friend, a cat named Honey.
What makes Foxxy truly special is the work she does every single day. Foxxy Brown serves as the therapy dog for a women’s mental health and trauma program in Atlanta. She visits clients daily, bringing comfort, emotional support, and unconditional love to women going through some of the hardest moments of their lives. She has helped calm anxiety, ease loneliness, and bring smiles back to faces that desperately needed hope.
Now, Foxxy Brown needs help herself. Foxxy was hit by a car, resulting in devastating injuries including a broken radius and ulna, along with spinal injuries causing paralysis in her hind legs. There is hope though, the doctors believe these injuries are treatable with surgery and Foxxy will be able to return to full mobility. She is currently receiving care at Auburn University Veterinary Hospital, where specialists are doing everything they can to help her recover.
Her medical care and surgeries have been emotionally and financially overwhelming, but we are determined to give Foxxy every chance possible to heal and continue the work she loves so much. She has spent her life helping others through pain and trauma, and now we are asking for help on her behalf. Every donation — no matter the amount — will go directly toward emergency veterinary care, orthopedic surgery for her broken leg, treatment for her spinal injuries, hospitalization and rehabilitation, pain management, and recovery support. If you are unable to donate, sharing Foxxy Brown’s story would mean the world to us. Foxxy has given so much love and healing to others. Please help us give her the chance to heal too. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and support.
