Tips to progress past the mid game?
My wife and I started playing this game and the first 20-30 hours have been a blast. However we have just hit a point where everything has become a grind. We dont have much time to play and I feel like whenever we do play we spend the majority of time trying to get enough ammo, food and water to go out and survive an adventure. We still have bicycles but just upgraded to pump shotguns and AK47s. I feel like motor vehicles will help a lot but we are still so far away from unlocking them. We just recently disabled horde night because we spent way to long to prepare for it and we would rather just go on adventures.
Are there any mods or settings that can speed up our playthrough a bit? Is there something outside of trader quests that I am missing that is holding us back?
Edit: Forgot to mention ammo is a pain in the ass
