2 SATA TO 6 PIN ADAPTER FOR A GTX 1650?, long term risks?
i've been using it for like 1.5 years by now and there are no issues (yet), and i just checked how the sata cables are and they were getting pretty warm to touch when the gpu is under full load. i was just wondering, if it fails at some point would it just take the sata cable with it or will it damage other componets like the psu or hdd?, is it safe to keep using it or should i try underclocking it or somthing?
SPECS:
CPU: I7 4770
GPU: GTX 1650 (tu106, 90 watts)
RAM: 16GB DDR3
HDD: 1TB
SSD: 500GB
PSU: 290WATT
the techpower up gpuz shows that the gpu is drawing around 75 watts from the 6pin and only like 15 from the pcie slot...
