I'm currently in year 12 taking International A-Levels( Math grade:A, Physics and Computer Science) I'm planning to move with my family after finishing this year to Berlin. I'm currently looking at universities. I want to apply to Mechanical Engineering and currently taking B2 german course. If I apply to TU Berlin/HTW Berlin I need to wait a semester doing nothing till april where I can start studying. But I'm scared that maybe I won't get in as MechE is a NC. Would I be accepted with grades AAA or AAA*?

So I thought of an idea, what if I apply to a Private university in Berlin (SRH Heildeberg) for the first semester, then apply to TU Berlin in the second semester, so If I don't get in I'll not have wasted time. Is this a good idea? And What Private universities in Berlin are good?
