Looking for feedback from gamers.

I’m in the middle of making a tool to hopefully help gamers around the world. The 9-5 worker that gets home and just wants to game a little bit before bed.
I’m looking to see if any gamers here could help me out with some feedback on some of the features I’m implementing to try and avoid over building or just wasting my time as a whole. I’ve been at it for a month.
Thank you ahead of time for you time if you read this. Have a great day.

  1. Would a gaming only social media be something you were interested in?
If you are. What are some of the things you would like to see for it to even catch your attention.

  2. There is no way this ever works? And why not. :)

Is anyone else overwhelm trying to read a server chat?

It’s kinda a crazy seeing a full server chatting away and if anyone is going to agree with me it’s here. You bring this up in the chat thread and they respond with get good lol. What do you all think? Is there a better option out there? I’ve used discord for years but man. It’s rough.

The reality of doing this is harder than advertised

I like many others we’re introduced to the idea of build it! It’s your time and blah blah blah. And here I am. Full build ready and app that works yet 0 users.
Nobody tells you that the hardest part is the distribution, the networking. The cold selling. Your app might try and solve a problem you see but sometimes that problem is not big enough for everyone else to see.

Right now I’m looking for advice from anyone that will give it. Open to all of it. I had an app that depends on users. Without them the app dies. How are you all marketing and getting users? What tips do you have for someone that’s has dug the whole and now is full in on the idea of getting this to work. I’ve never been more excited to get something going.

MMO group finding across games in a bad state?

Recently I’ve tried going back to mmos. I’ve tried ESO and ff… it’s felt rough trying to find a group to play with long term.. everything feels transactional. Miss the days where I used to have a solid group no matter the mmo. Is it just me or is it rough out there right now? Are you all having better luck?

Gaming group finding current state.

Group finding now a days has you jumping from one discord to the other. Or from platform to platform, I’m curious if people are getting tired of it. Additionally discord channels that you join are active for a week they promise you the most active social community and yet dies if in a month. Is it just me? Am I the only one exhausted? Social media platforms over shadow gaming… or judge you for gaming.
I would really like to know what you all think about this.
