Had a really strange feeling after visiting a flat... has anyone experienced this?
Ahoy, so... this might sound weird but I’d really appreciate honest input.
I’ve been flat-hunting for a 2BHK, and I’ve seen quite a few places over the past few days. All of them felt normal or even positive. But they were in congested area so... yeah no.
But today I visited one flat that felt… off in a way I’ve never experienced before.
Objectively, it wasn’t bad: Fully furnished. Open space, multiple balconies. Good sunlight (I went around 1 PM)
But the moment I entered, I had this strong sense that something wasn’t right. Not fear exactly...y'know I didn’t feel like running away but more like the place just felt WRONG.
Some things I noticed:
* Everything (inside and outside the building) had a layer of dust, even vehicles nearby
* The furniture felt very old, almost unused for a long time
* Despite bright sunlight, the flat still felt oddly dim
* There was this old rocking chair which just added to the strange vibe
Since coming back, I’ve been feeling unusually uneasy and a bit paranoid, which is very unlike me. I’m generally not someone who gets scared easily (even horror movies don’t affect me).
I’m trying to understand this logically:
* Has anyone else experienced a place that just felt “off” for no clear reason?
* Could this be due to environmental factors (lighting, ventilation (it was very good there), low occupancy, etc.)?
* Or is it just my brain reacting to something unfamiliar?
I’m not jumping to any supernatural conclusions, but the feeling was strong enough that I can’t ignore it. And right now I feel kinda scared. I'm not able to sleep. Feel some negative energy around me.
Would really appreciate if anyone has insights.
