idea I can’t get out of my head about the 7 deadly sins
ok so i’ve had this idea sitting in my brain for a bit and i just wanna throw it out somewhere before i forget it
what if the seven deadly sins weren’t like… evil monsters or people suffering from them
and instead they were just normal people with jobs that basically lead other people into the sin
like not in a forced evil way, more like… they just make it really easy for people to fall into it without realizing
for example
gluttony isn’t some gross fat guy or whatever, he’s just a really good chef who runs a restaurant. people go there once and keep coming back because the food is insanely good and comforting and it slowly just becomes part of their life
pride is like a makeup artist / stylist. he’s not vain or anything, he just helps people look their absolute best. but his clients start getting kinda addicted to that version of themselves and never wanna go back
wrath runs a rage room where people go to break stuff and let anger out. it’s healthy at first but then some people start going there because they want to feel angry just to use it
stuff like that
the sins aren’t really evil, they’re just… systems or roles in society that kind of guide people toward extremes without forcing anything
i don’t really have a full story or anything yet, i just think the concept is kinda interesting and wanted to see if anyone else thinks it could go somewhere
