I want to get into skateboarding since in my youth I was never confident to do it. What are some good boards for a beginner who is also 230+ pounds?

What set up (besides deck) is best for us older skaters who packed on the pounds, I want the gear that will hold up the best.

Local shops are non existent here in small town Midwest (2 hours to the nearest), so I have to order online.

This is my last class for my program, I just received an email from the professor that if I don’t send them a private message agreeing to their class rules, they will not grade my work. Can they even do this? I’ve already acknowledged the announcements on the thread, I’ve taken legitimately every single other class and not ONCE have been told to do this. Just seems weird and over stepping their role
