Hi everyone,
I’m currently developing my comic SANGRE, a supernatural urban drama centered around three Afro-Latina sisters (Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Dominican) raised primarily in a Dominican household in the Bronx, NYC.
Volume 1 is fully written, and I’m now moving into the visual production phase.
I’m looking for:
• Comic Book Artist (Penciler/Inker – sequential storytelling)
• Colorist (if the artist does not handle coloring)
Project scope (to start):
• 1 cover illustration
• 2–3 sequential pages
If everything aligns, I’m open to continuing into a larger collaboration for the full volume.
Style I’m looking for:
• Cinematic & grounded realism
• Strong character emotion
• Dynamic action & storytelling
• Dark, moody atmosphere
• Detailed urban environments
• Familiarity with Latin Caribbean culture and NYC/Bronx settings is a strong plus
