missed the M3 by a second later on

I have been frequenting this gift shop recently that seemed to have really good stock of hot wheels whenever a new box releases. (They have miniGT, Kaido, premium diecast brands as well)

Found out recently they clear out the STHs, the licenced mainlines (Ferrari, Mclaren etc) and any hot mainline from the box and only feature the duds at MRP. STHs they keep for themselves (5 to 6 of them on the wall with blister protector), the licenced mainlines they sell on their own website above MRP and to BAIT they keep a few Cone Shaker TH out to be sold.

Now that's just one of the stores I have been to more frequently than others, but fact remains if more Toy/Gift shops are doing this - how would we even venture out for a hunt with the confidence of picking up something good?

Truly the hardest cars to find are the licenced mainlines of Nissan Skyline GTR and Supra, found these premiums tho at a local store tho 😭♥️
