Ok so, my e38 was crank no start when I bought it.

I’ve replaced fuel pump
Fixed relay so no the fuel pump is actually working
All spark plugs fine
EWS immobiliser bypassed by ecu ( I don’t know if that’s correct, but my bmw technician mate did it for me and now it cranks again. It didn’t before we bypassed it)

Anyway so I put it down to bad crankshaft censor as the cable was shot so I replaced it with a “prenco” one and it is still crank no start

ChatGPT reckons it’s because the car doesn’t like the Prenco censor and is telling me to buy a OEM or Bosch one

I might have missed some information here but I will reply back to all comments

I would LOVE some help as I’ve been messing around for ages😭
