2020 model Xtreme 160r 19k driven. Spent almost 30k on service charges alone (I got some parts changed for free under warranty). I do service only at ASC. I drive only in the city 10km/day. I bought this bike because of good Ducati looks and fraud paid youtuber reviews. From the day I bought my life changed. This bike never allowed to stay peaceful.

1. Changed gear spring at 1k. Gear used to get stuck and I thought it was my driving problem (i was a new driver) till my father drove it and confirmed the same. None of the ASC guys identified the issue. I went to 3 service centers in Hyderabad but to no avail. Finally I went to a different city service center they identified the issue. Took 1 month to get a ₹10 spring.
2. Change accelerator cable twice. Used to get stuck. This happened at 500kms. Bike used to go full throttle all of a sudden and get stuck there. Drove to service center twice in Hyderabad traffic in first gear at full throttle. Reached 40kmph in first gear.
3. Changed handlebar switch assembly once at 700kms as switches were stuck. ASC denied warranty for a 1-month-old bike teling switches are not covered. Somehow i made them change it for free.
4. Silencer got rusted within 1 year of purchase. ASC told not covered under warranty. Surprisingly all bikes of this model have rusted silencers.
5. My tank doesn't open properly and gets stuck. ASC told to change entire set - tank cap plus ignition key. Didn't do it as they quoted around 5k.
6. Changed chain sprocket at 9k.
7. Clutch cable thrice. Once cable broke on the road and I had to drive till service center without clutch.
8. changed disc brake pistons once.
9. Changed front suspension thrice. ASC person told all bikes of this model has this problem.
10. Indicator lights die themselves. Changed twice.
11. Recently petrol started leaking on it own. Fuel injector plastic cap broke itself.
12. Service centers are pathetic. Most technicians have minimal knowledge about bike. Service response is also bad.
13. Parts availability is terrible. Even for a simple indicator light I have to wait for 20-30 days.
14. Terrible seat. I used to get rashes and abrasions (literally) in my buttock region. Thanks to this bike Now my skin got thickened. Sitting on the Back seat is hell. My friends straight up refuse to sit on my bike. Pillions complain buttocks and back pain.
15. Only good thing is the peppy engine with great mileage (can get 50kmpl with leisure driving). Looks good.
