The chains are broken! I snapped. I was inbound and GM.

I had enough with hearing about performance metrics and not being “enthusiastic enough” towards tasks like backing up at the lanes and in OPU. Being told “you should be working a box per minute or at least as fast as me” by people paid $15 more per hour is something I will not miss. Don’t get me wrong, I get that the job requires work but c’mon we all work our wages.

I found myself reminding myself that “this is just Target, it’s not that deep” and I think a lot of people who work there need to realize that.

I’ll miss the people, not the toxic culture or work expectations.
