New to the area looking for friends
Hi all!
I saw a couple posts like this and wanted to just put myself out there. I'm 25 and moved to the south lakes area with my girlfriend about 3 years ago now. I'm hoping to make a few local friends as I am finding this place quite isolating, especially as I can't drive yet!
So a bit about me, my main interests are reading and knitting but I'm open to any craft. I've dabbled in some running, I love taking my dog out, particularly in Whinlatter forest and typically going to Keswick for lunch after. I also like casual video games, particularly pokemon and Stardew valley. I also like board games and need a team for the pub quiz.
I've joined a few meets with Lakes Queer Adventures and I've gone to a few of the Pokémon card nights in Kendal, but find group settings to be quite daunting and don't feel I can really get myself out there.
