Can I sue my uni for defamation for calling me a sexist

i go to a mid sized uni in Dubai internet city. Earlier today I was in an online class seminar on teams, we got grouped and separate calls, someone said (who else is here) in the call chat and I was like (just you and me) but then I found out who ever sent tht message was a girl so not to be weird I apologized. I said (oh shii ur a girl am sorry), and didn’t talk to her again. Anyway the teacher got mad for some reason and started saying this is unacceptable and stuff infront of others. Saying how would ur parents feel abt this.

Anyway I emailed saying I will be complaining to the university.

She emailed me this below

The message is a formal warning addressing unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour during a seminar. It states that a comment made towards a female student was perceived as sexist and made the student uncomfortable. The sender emphasizes that such behaviour is not tolerated and highlights the importance of respectful communication among team members.

It also advises the recipient to be more mindful of how their words may be interpreted by others, noting that cultural differences can affect perceptions. The message encourages empathy and respectful conduct moving forward, particularly in academic and professional settings.

She’s calling me sexist and going on abt some culture?

Even tho i didn’t say anything

Tbh it’s just sad a university teacher can say all this with a straight face.

But if I stay silent or just try to sort things out internally, people in my class would think am acc a sexist so, do I have a chance to sue?
