I found some steel chunks in my 5500 mile oil change. The straight one doesnt bother me as much as the black one that looks like it made its way though the engine.

Nothing odd when running. Valve train is a bit loud until it warms up but that seems normal for these GSX8/Vsrtrom 800 engines.

Still have 8 months left on the warranty. Would you send it or pay for the diag? Problem being there is no apparent issue.

Oil looked pretty clean otherwise. Didnt cut open the filter yet.
