We are not doing the mud baths or anything, just want to drive up to see the volcano. How long should we plan to spend there? It sounds like there's a hike there as well. Is that accessible without booking a tour with the full experience and is it worth doing? We're already doing a lot of hiking and seeing a lot of waterfalls on our trip.

Hi, we are traveling to St. Lucia in early June, and considering doing the GP hike. How in shape do you need to be to do the hike (and still have a good time)? I'm pretty fit and active but have POTS, and my dad, while not terribly out of shape, is not super active, so I'm worried about him on the trail. It also says online that it's $50 per person for a guide. Is that accurate? We have a group of 5 so unsure about a $250 hike...
