Been dreaming of taking my Canon mirrorless setup down to the Outer Banks and cleaning house during spring migration for years. Sadly, I think the windy and chilly weather from a few weeks back kept some of the birds at bay, plus the bright half moon stopped me from getting the long exposures at night that I really wanted.

Still had a great vacation all things considered. The food's still fantastic, the vibes chill, and I have a bag full of bay scallops that could fill an army of decorative jars. Also, my car and the AF motor on my telephoto lens didn't both fall apart like they did on my last few visits, so that's something.
