Cormac McCarthy had a secret relationship with a 16 year old girl when he was 42. He flew her out to Mexico and everything.
This isn’t an alleged thing, and I don’t think most people even know about this (I certainly didn’t), but it turns out he had a romantic/sexual relationship with this girl and even used her as inspiration for characters and novels. The woman had an interview with Vanity Fair about it and everything, there’s evidence to back it up.
