There will come a time when we fly just for fun.

There will come a time when we fly just for fun.
When we enjoy life without thinking about war.

But for now — the war is still here.

So we have to learn to fight smart.
Because the lives of our people are the highest value.

Part 2 — same vibe, just leveled up.

Part 2 — same vibe, just leveled up.

Still flying in Grand Theft Auto V for fun and to unwind… but this time we pushed it a bit further.

Our FPV drone now has a mounted machine gun. Sounds like pure game stuff — but drones like this already exist in real units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, not just in games.

We also added hostile objects on the server — so it’s not just random flying anymore. Now it’s about spotting, identifying, and engaging only valid targets.

Still just a game. Still for relaxation.

But a bit closer to reality.

How long do you think it takes to train a combat drone pilot?

Many people imagine it can be done in a few days.

In reality, it takes much longer.

Training includes:

• simulators
• manual flight practice
• navigation
• tactics
• teamwork

In our program, pilots learn both FPV and reconnaissance drones, plus crew coordination.

How long do you think proper combat training should take?

We set up an FPV simulator in Grand Theft Auto V — just for fun.

Sometimes you just want to relax a bit.

We set up an FPV simulator in Grand Theft Auto V — just for fun. Huge open world, no limits. You can create your own missions, fly wherever you want, and tune the drone exactly the way you like.

Even better — you can connect your real controller. We hooked up the Radiomaster TX16S MK3, and it actually feels surprisingly close to flying a real setup.

Not a replacement for real training — but a great way to chill, experiment, and keep your fingers sharp.

Graduation day at WeTrueGun

Another group has completed their training — certificates awarded, handshakes exchanged, and a strong sense of purpose in the air.

These moments are always special. It’s not just about finishing a course. It’s about the people, the effort, the growth, and the understanding of what comes next. The atmosphere is a mix of pride, focus, and quiet determination.

At WeTrueGun, training doesn’t end with graduation. Everyone who comes through here becomes part of a larger family. Graduates stay connected, support each other, and continue learning — because in this field, stopping is not an option.

For instructors, this day is always a bit bittersweet. There’s pride in what has been achieved, but also that familiar feeling when it’s time to let people go their own way.

But it’s never really a goodbye.

We always wait for news — from the front, from your lives, from your journey after training. And we always expect to see you again here, in the training center, like coming back home. To train, to grow stronger, or to pass your experience to those who are just starting.

That’s how this works.

That’s how we all get stronger.

… our graduates return to their Alma Mater.

WeTrueGun is more than just a training center — it’s a family.

Those who train with us remain part of it for life. When their contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine ends, or when they come back on leave or rotation, our graduates return to their Alma Mater.

Some come back to sharpen their skills. Others return to share real combat experience with those who are just starting their journey.

Brave people. Thank you.

Volunteers from different countries have come to our training center to learn how to fight and join the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Brave people. Thank you.

Some of them have Ukrainian roots — and when the country was in need, they stepped up to help.

What do you think is the biggest threat to drone pilots?

On the modern battlefield it’s not just enemy fire.

It’s also electronic warfare.

Operators constantly deal with:

• signal jamming
• GPS spoofing
• radio interference
• link loss

Training must prepare pilots for this.

What EW countermeasures do you think work best?
