"Some days... I just feel like walking into a lake with pockets of stones... and just see how far I sink... before I want to go back up."

"Days like these, I feel small. Like no matter what I do, I wouldn't matter."

"Nobody's going to miss me. Nobody's going to miss you. We're Ravens. Why would they?"

"Doesn't matter what you do. Once you're gone... that's it. Nobody will even remember your name."

"So why fight Raven? Why bother at all... when you can just sink... and let the waterflow take you away."

After the Behemoth, I was skeptical of Omega, especially when it used the same aggro gimmick. Turns out, unlike Behemoth, this is an actually enjoyable fight (granted there's like, 2 hiccups but what fight doesn't have those?)

Note: This is the standard version. I have not fought the Savage One, and I don't really intend to unless there's a better reward in it for me

The Attacks
Surprisingly fair. All of them are well telegraphed and have easy methods of evasion. As long as a lancer takes Enmity, you don't see yourself on the brunt too often, but it's AOE's can hurt when you get sloppy.

For the most part, he does a decent job at being a boss. his hitboxes are clean, attacks come in sequentially, but not so fast that you're dealing with twenty things at once, and unlike the Behemoth, you can choose where the Napalms going to land.

Phase 2 is when he ups the ante and gets a little goofy with it. Pankoraptor Mode isn't that detrimental, however some attacks will happen more often than not, or he'll repeat back to back so, it is advised to get him out asap. Surprisingly it isn't too massive of a difficulty spike outside of the occasional laser that traps you against a wall.

Phase 3 is more or less the same as phase 1, except he's slightly faster and now has half circle lasers that go left or right (His left or right, specifically). Then it's a damage race to kill a Nerscylla

That much I'll complain about. The Nerscylla Copy is not really well designed in the slightest. Unless you're already inside of it's hitbox, there's no safe spot from the mortars, and it just LOVES spamming them. The lasers can be a bit... questionable at times and it just... is not fun to deal with.

Phase 4 is a mashup of 2 and 3. He's got Pankoraptor and Sweeps so now it's do or die. eScape is playing in the background so you get a power boost (assuming you've played FFXIV) and there's nowhere for either of you to run. By now you should have at least broken his hind/front legs so he'll be damn near dead. Just keep up the pressure and don't choke at the end.

All in all, despite me being a constant 2 shot who only squeaks by with like, 10 HP, I found him very enjoyable to hunt. It felt like being at odds with an equal. It was a challenging fight, but pretty fair. Plus if you have at least one friend with support hunters turned on, it becomes pretty thrilling when it's one cart left, phase 4, and it's all or nothing.

Gogmazios on the other hand, can suck my balls

Shit like this is why I hate LR Ripping and advise against it at all costs

As much as I 'want' to rip and rig Zinaida, there isn't much I see in the realm of possibility because of those fucking legs

I can do EVERYTHING ELSE in game view, but those goddamn legs have to be centered or the whole thing goes to shit
