Intermittent crashes with display corruption
This issue only happens when unplugged, it tends to happen randomly when either web browsing or coding or solidworks, so no real load. It is sporadic, occurring sometimes hours apart, sometimes months apart. The screen suddenly has artifacting, in what appears to be an igpu memory corruption, then it freezes and shuts down. The event viewer just shows a standard shutdown without proper power down. Is it possible that this is just a software issue or is it definitely a dying igpu?
