After a bit of turmoil, finally got my dream car.

I'll spare the details because this is a group about cars and to not dating, but after nearly 11 years my fiance dumped me a few weeks after finding out my dad has cancer- during the pandemic she herself had cancer- not relevant to the story but interesting.

I went to the 2019 Auto show in Chicago at McCormick place. When I was there I saw the Hyundai Palisade for the first time. Ever since that day I've always wanted one. It was my dream car. Specifically the first gen, not the redesign. I wanted the one I saw. I was never able to get it because my ex always objected as we always needed to save money because she has two kids. Long story short, a few weeks after finding out that my dad had cancer, she dumped me. She took everything. The apartment. The cats. I actually let her keep the car without putting up a fight (my name is on it also- 2019 Malibu).... In February I bought a 2020 Palisade limited. Obviously I'm not happy about how things ended but on the bright side, I finally got the car I always wanted so I'm trying to be optimistic. It's actually nicer than I remembered and I don't regret buying it. not even a little bit. Happy to join the crew.

Broken transmission fill bolt.

As the title says, I drain and filled my Palisades transmission fluid for the first time. Like a jackass I over tightened the plastic transmission fill cap and snapped It off. First of all, how do I get the old one out? Secondly, is there a metal replacement? I know I'm not the first person to have done this considering how brittle that bolt is, but how fucked am i?
