Oxford offers more joint courses than Cambridge, suggesting that Oxford likes to broaden some students' understanding of related subjects in an interdisciplinary way.

Also, I have read that a typical Oxford English question would forensically COMPARE TWO texts and that a typical Cambridge English question would instead forensically EXAMINE ONE text.

It feeds in to the sense that Cambridge even treats arts subjects more like a science. Cambridge, of course, was well known for literary criticism in the last century.
