Looking for assistance on window opening mechanism repair
Pictured is an example of a working window.
So the windows in my house open via an unlock mechanism and then a turn handle to actually open the windows.
Over time 2 of my windows the opening mechanism I can only assume broke so the metal bit in the picture doesnt slide up/down anymore disengaging/engaging the lock so its stuck in a locked mode and I cant open the windows. Is there a way to force these windows open so I can look at replacing the lever? (current assumption) or do I have to take the entire window out?
