Garmond & Zaza have returned once again to help me out in a challenge! Only this time, they don't immediately jump into lava. They're not Shakra levels of helpful, but when they occasionally do something helpful I can't help but feel proud of them. So with their help and my hours of practice form Day 7, I beat Day 8 at a reasonable time and spent the rest of the stream unwinding in Stardew Valley with a blueberry.

For today a purely cosmetic change won, so I felt obligated to add the second top comment's suggestion as well. Day 7 ended up being very difficult to say the least. The Beastfly from Season 1 Day 5 was already hard enough, and now I gotta deal with this. For this wave there are 4 Cogwork Defenders that only take damage from the needle in an arena now filled with lava falls, 2 wrecking balls, and believe it or not, Primal Aspids. I also forgot to disable the falling bells from the previous wave, so pretend those aren't there. Basically I just facetanked the Cogwork Defenders and spammed the needle. Since neither the ground or air is safe, I stayed grounded and spammed until I won. Not really much else I can do since they don't take damage from Sharpdart or any ranged tools. It's not worth trying to dodge since the environmental hazards do 2 masks of damage, so I just embrace the contact damage and use the i-frames to phase through them and hit their backs.

Oh and just to clarify, arena changes will just be for the one wave. So the lava falls and wrecking balls will disappear after I beat the wave. So you don't have to account for those when considering how hard the next addition will be.

It took about 5 hours for me to beat Day 7 (with a 1 hour Slay the Spire 2 break in between). But as long as it's possible, I won't give up. So it would mean a lot for you to drop by the Twitch stream for a minute or two (8pm PDT tonight). I wanna keep being able to put 100% of my effort into these challenges, so any kind of support no matter how small will help me keep the series as high quality as possible. But anyway, keep the suggestions coming! I got plenty of spirit left in me.

I should've known the Beastfly would come back to haunt me, and now on Day 6 it has returned along with Fourth Chorus, Choir Clappers, Spit Squits, and falling bells. My strategy was to kill the Beastfly as fast as possible before it could spawn in any Choir Clappers. Despite my strategy, the difficulty in general spiked because I didn't realize how lucky I got with the random enemies on Day 5. Endgame bosses can spawn in, and today they came in full force. I had to switch back to wanderer's crest after having several Act 3 bosses begin to spawn.
