Accutane help

I’ve recently been to see a dermatologist in Belfast and they prescribed me Accutane. Can someone who has successfully completed Accutane give me some advice? I’ve been put on 30mg daily for six months, but a friend today said it’s odd I’m on such a low dosage and should ask my doctor for higher amount or it’s essentially a waste, is this true in your experience? Im desperate to fix my skin.

Changing time and dose?

So my doctor has me on 30mg a day for six months.
I would prefer to do a shorter time period so I was thinking surely 3 months on maybe double would be better? Should I ask him? Bearing in mind I want to make sure my skin is clear.

Thanks.

Going back to university

Have decided to go back to university this year after dropping out my first year after leaving school. I have just turned 21, would I be considered too old to move into university accommodation for this year? I never really had a proper university experience the first time around and wanted to experience the independence too.

I would worry everyone would be 18 and I’d feel old lol, has anyone experienced this? Is their people aged 20 21 in those accommodations near Ulster?

EDIT: Does anyone from Ulster or any of the other students accommodation buildings know how this works, would I be automatically put into a shared flat with other first years or maybe a few a bit older close to my age?

Day 5. Normal reaction?

Redness especially after I moisturise and a little bit of a sting/burning but it’s tolerable. I’m on day 5, is this normal LV

Any facial i can have on accutane?

I want a bit of tlc, I’m on day 5 of accutane currently. No active breakout or anything but just dry and red for the most part. I want a facial for a bit of tlc and improve the appearance a little, is there any facials that would be helpful/safe to do?

Was excited when offered my DA. Hundreds applied and I was one of few given offers. But the company is a mid sized bank and it’s put a little doubt in my mind as other people have mentioned it’s not a massive company. Such a great opportunity and they sponsor extra qualifications after a period of time working there, such as finance qualifications etc. I was very excited and I like the company but like I said other people have put doubts in my mind.
