Hi guys! New to the saltwater hobby here :)

I just recently set up my first 20-gallon saltwater tank. I've been trying to cycle it for 2 weeks now, by ghost feeding with flakes and mysis shrimps. I also added live bacteria.

However, every few days I would take an ammonia/nitrite test, they would both be at 0. It's been two weeks now, and I still don't see signs of ammonia. I still se a little bit of the flakes at the bottom, so maybe they haven't rotted yet? Should I add more frozen mysis shrimps?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Hi guys! A couple months ago I got three Gardneri killifish—1 male, and 2 females. They live in a highly planted 20 gallon tank, and have been eating well and even reproducing. The females are confident and stay near the surface while the male likes to hide most of the time.

However I recently noticed that the females have nipped fins, and by observing I found out that it's the male chasing them.

Is that behaviour normal? Should I separate them? Would getting more females "spread the aggression" of the male?

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!
