My Boyfriend and I (both of us are 35) are looking for resort recommendations for Dominican Republic or Antigua. We are undecided between both locations.

We are looking for something more laid back and relaxed since we are not into the party scene. Good food options and can accommodate food allergies (Wheat/Gluten). We are not huge drinkers so drink package is not a necessity. Would love a swim out pool in the room! Looking to travel between end of August and beginning of October for approx 10days stay. Budget is ~$2-4K/each.
