So here we have 10... wait a minute... make that 15 young gunshot victims (coming from the same lakeside camp) in hospital emergency rooms and there are ***No Supects In Custody (or otherwise)*** ...

But officials made sure to sound like a parody by assuring to the community that there is "no ongoing threeat to public safety".

Can people even hear the words falling from their own open mouths anymore?

A shooter or multiple shooters that you can't yet identify (let alone arrest) is the very definition of an "ongoing threat to public safety"... And they would recognize it if it was a "mass stabbing" or even a hit & run driver.

Why do guns always get the benefit of a built-in pre-trial "not that bad" defense that no other weapon or its wielder gets?
