Any popular Jewish areas in the city?
Hey! I’m Jewish and I was wondering if there were any prominent Jewish areas in Chicago, near the loop/Lincoln Park would be the best. I’ll be moving soon and would love to learn more. Thanks!

So I’ve been wondering with tackling the definition of Zionism when talking to other people.
One example I have is me saying that Zionism simply means that the Jewish people have a right to self-determination, it’s pretty simple, right? Then the person in question would completely ignore that and want to talk about the idea that Zionism means you’re a baby killer or some bullshit.
I feel like the word has been turned completely around for what it actually stands for and anyone I talk to personally about it talks about Zionism in an expansionist/murderous way, but that just ain’t it.
Going to be going to DePaul as a freshman this fall so I’ll be living in Lincoln Park and also having some classes in the loop, I’ve been considering bringing a bike from home or building one there as I love biking.
I just wanted to know how bikeable Chicago was if I wanted to stray away from city biking and focus on trails/neighborhoods near me. I know the lakefront trail is great just not sure how easy it would be to bring a bike there if I’ll be in Lincoln Park
Edit: don’t worry I am very protective of my bike as of now (I got a really good lock + one for my front wheel as well, I know a guy)
