Issue with seller - Kuwans

Purchased some minds from him at the start of April, item has not shipped despite continuous ‘it’s in transit’ etc from him.

Reached the point where it’s past delivery date, started a dispute and he has now stated the only way I’ll get a refund is to change my reasoning to the item being seized by customs. Presumably so that it doesn’t flag with dhgate itself? No idea, but I kind of find it a little dishonest to say something that isn’t actually true.

It’s not so much the shoes not getting here, or that they haven’t left the warehouse, I appreciate stuff goes wrong, but the fact he spent over 30 days telling me it had definitely already left, was in transit etc etc rather than just fix the issue and then expects me to be dishonest rather than just refund me. Literally don’t get the point of why he’s not just doing that, rather than playing stupid games.

So this arrived yesterday in the post, I’m personally on the fence with Royal Oaks, bit too flashy for my usual style, however my eldest (he’s 26) has a couple of the Casio clones/homage ones and he’s been making noises about getting a fakey just because. So being a nice dad, I kept my eye out for one that looked ok and wasn’t too expensive, he’s a grown up he can buy his own stuff if he wants anything too expensive 🤷‍♂️

But anyway, spotted this little lovely and thought yep, that will work for him so put an order in and ta daa. I don’t normally go for the option with the box or anything as I have my own storage case, but as he doesn’t, thought it would be a nice touch for him.

Watch is super super clean, balance wheel and other assorted gears are visible and makes the dial look very attractive to be honest, bracelet is solid, no rattles which I was surprised about to be fair. I haven’t resized it as it’s not for me and his wrists are weirdly slightly bigger than mine.

The box, if your jnto that sort of thing is actually really really nice - also came with the bag from ‘the store’ as well as the paperwork and receipts, again if that matters to you.

Shipping was around 20 days, arrived in a box, wrapped in bubble wrap inside another box, so pretty well packaged.

Overall, considering it isn’t for me to wear and I’m not a big fan of this watch, I’d give it a solid 8/10.

£60 including shipping from the gate, seller was superrolex who I’ve had a couple hof other watches off before. If anyone wants the link let me know and I’ll post it.

Honestly people, use the search bar, use google, try the ones you can see in your App Store.

If you want to pay for an app, then tivi is probably the best you can get, probably, but its preference (I don’t use it, but millions do).

This sub is not here to help you with basic things like that, do your own research and try them out, please, for the sake of me having to delete 10 of the same posts every day.

Love you all

recently picked up a mid-tier replica of the Chanel 25 small handbag in grey leather for my wife and wanted to share an honest review.

These are her words as clearly I’m a guy and don’t ‘appreciate’ handbags like she does 😁

First impression—the color is really well done. The grey is a nice cool-toned neutral that looks pretty close to the authentic from photos I’ve seen. It’s super easy to style and doesn’t scream “rep” at all.

The leather (or canvas? The info online says it’s both so 🤷‍♂️) is decent for mid-tier. It’s not as buttery as the real thing, but it’s also not plasticky. There’s a slight stiffness to it, but that actually helps the bag keep its structure, which I don’t mind. Up close, you can tell it’s not top-tier quality, but from a normal distance it looks solid.

Construction-wise, stitching is mostly clean with a few minor inconsistencies if you really inspect it. The hardware has a good weight, though the finish isn’t quite as refined—again, noticeable if you’re looking for it, but not something most people would clock in everyday use.

Size is practical for a “small”—fits my phone, cardholder, keys, and a couple of extras without an issue. It works well as a daily bag.

Strap is comfortable enough, been using it for work so not overloaded.

Biggest cons: leather quality isn’t amazing, and you do lose some of the finer details compared to authentic or higher-tier reps.

Overall, I’d say it’s worth it if you want the look without spending a ton, as long as you go in with realistic expectations. It’s not 1:1, but it does the job and looks good in everyday use.
