Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well. I’m new to this community, but I’ve been carrying a memory for years that I feel compelled to finally act upon. I’m 19 now, but between the ages of 3 and 5, I lived in Kenitra and attended a kindergarten (creche) there that gave me some of the most beautiful memories of my life.

I’m looking for a boy I was inseparable with back then. His family name was Zarwali or Zerouali.

We were bonded in that innocent, intense way only children can be. Our families knew about us, the teachers knew about us, we were always together. We ate, napped, and played side-by-side. I’ll never forget how soft his hair was; I used to ruffle it all the time.

When I was 5, my family moved away to Sale and I lost contact with that part of my life. I actually went back when I was 8 just to find him and take a photo with him. We found him at a different kindergarten then, and I got the photo, but tragically, I’ve lost it over the years.

Here are the details I can remember:

Name: Walid Zerouali/Zarwali

Age: He should be around 18 or 19 years old now I think?

Location: Kenitra, creche li ja f Ouled Oujih.

We were cared for by a wonderful woman named Latifa at the kindergarten (creche). I visited her last year, and she told me a tall young man stopped her in the street recently to ask if she was the one who cared for him as a child. She recognized him instantly and it was him. She mentioned he had dyed his hair, and had grown quite tall.

Please this isn't anything weird, I am just an old friend looking for a piece of my childhood history. If you don’t know anything or this doesn't interest you, please feel free to just skip this post. I’m sharing this with a vulnerable heart, so I’d appreciate it if we could keep the comments respectful and kind. No hate, please.

If anyone knows a "Zerouali" around this age who fits this description, or if you are him, I would love to hear from you.

Thank you for your time and help.
