… try a playthrough where you try to get every single customer a tailored dream product. Create a specific product for everybody on the map based on their: quality preferences, favourite effects, and favourite type of drug. Then exclusively sell them that product and have your dealers carry their assigned customer’s product.
… have the option to text them and let them know. Maybe they walk, or maybe they don’t, based on length of the (approved) delay. Allow price re negotiations.
… I thin before going wider, the map should go deeper. There are so many empty apartments, unused business and doors, potential interiors such as the court building, the bank and the town hall… Hyland point is such a well designed and interesting town. I’d love for more people to live there and to be able to see more of it.
Oh, and the hardware store guys too. Guess they’re secretly both crime bosses.
I’m glad so many people are enjoying the added atmosphere and more detailed world.
Something this game does so incredibly well is really immerse you. The music, the mechanics, the colourful graphics, the way the cops turn around and stare at you while walking backwards to symbolize paranoia (even if it’s just a glitch, sometimes genius is accidental) and yes the forever summer. This game makes me feel stoned just by playing it. Like my character is having a fever dream and I’m looking at the world through his eyes.
The weather didn’t ruin that but the alway sunny was definitely part of it. Lots of people seem to be enjoying it. And I’m sure the reason it was added was because he wanted to learn something new- so good for him really. But I miss forever summer.
The fact that the rest of the game is so immersive is what makes this necessary. I was running through the woods between Hyland manner and the barn in the dark… pitch black… no noise… it just really felt like wow… a bear attack should really be possible here.
