Website and waitlist are live!

Hello! I hope everyone is having a good week!

We have a basic version of the website up and running with a waitlist you can sign up for if you'd like. Once our legitscripts cert finishes processing we will be working on pushing a site update.

You can find it at Somirahealth.com

PSA: If you are using a legacy email provider such as yahoo or AOL, the emails may be deferred. During our testing of the waitlist those emails can take anywhere from 4 to 72 hours to arrive in your inbox due to yahoo and AOL being a little slow (very slow) with their vetting.

I'll post another status update on the state of our road to launch by monday! I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their week!

Weekly pre-launch update post 5/11

Hello everyone! Just wanted to make a post to keep everyone in the loop on what's going on and estimated timelines for launch, so i figured i would start giving a weekly update!

So, the past few weeks have been a flurry, but we are progressing smoothly! There are several factors out of our control (namely some contracts we are waiting on along with our legit scripts certification) that are a little behind right now. We need these things to be able to move forward with a few things.

In the meantime, our website was rebuilt by hand, we decided we wanted more control over our website, brand and freedom to move as needed in the future so rather than going with a subscription/template company we are having it all coded custom. Its been taking a while, but for now we nearly have a working website (a very simple, yet straightforward one for now) that will have a form for our mailing list sign up. This will only be used to inform you of when we launch through email and will help us get a reading on expected demand for when we launch.

I will let you know and post the link for the site when its ready (hopefully by the end of this week is what I'm told by our IT peeps)

Looking ahead, the next coming weeks we will be slowly integrating the patient intake portal to the website and running internal testing on everything from ordering, fulfillment, provider visits, payment system and overall work flow from start to finish. We want to minimize the chance of any hiccups occurring on launch (although we are also preparing for it just in case) so this step may take us a few weeks. During this time any links to the patient portal will be password protected to prevent any accidental early orders.

Thank you for your patience! I will have more solid timelines built in the coming weeks as things come together but I'm happy that you're here and excited to share with you the website (and pricing) very soon. 😁

Welcome to r/Somirahealth

Hey everyone 👋

Glad you’re here.

My name is Vincent and im one of the Co-Owners/founders of Somira Health!

We have been building our brand and company silently for the past several months and we are about a month away from launching (hopefully sooner but the recent prorx and bpi shutdowns have set us back a bit) but ive been a long time lurker on a lot of the more popular tirz subs, because tirz changed my life (and my best friends, too)

My best friend and business partner, Tony and I are both disabled veterans, and were frustrated with how difficult it was to get the weight loss treatments we desperately needed. I especially am unable to lift heavy weights or run, so its extremely hard for me to lose weight, even working with a dietician for years! I kept getting denied treatment options over and over. Compounded tirzepatide changed both our lives and made something inaccessible to us, attainable and affordable.

We started this because we saw how frustrating and confusing the weight loss space has become for many others, as well. Too many hoops, too much cost and not enough transparency. So we decided to build something simpler.

Our goal is pretty straightforward: make access to medical weight loss options easier, more affordable, and way less intimidating at a realistic monthly subscription cost priced off the lower doses that *won't* increase even as you titrate up.

Our small team has been working hard, and this subreddit is where we want to start engaging with everyone before launch! (Mostly me, because I am excited. Also, i love reddit)

Here’s what you can expect from this community:

• Honest discussions about weight loss medications and the process

• Clear breakdowns of how everything works

• Updates as we get closer to launch

• A place to ask questions without judgment

And just as important, what this isn’t:

• Not a place for spam or shady offers

• Not a place for unrealistic claims or miracle cures

• Not medical advice

We want this to be a space where people can actually learn something, share experiences, and feel a little less lost in the process. I hope you'll be kind to us and eachother as we try to make sure we build the type of company that puts customers first.

If you’re here early, you’re part of the foundation of this community! Thats not only important to me, but pretty cool, too! (Maybe not, but i like to think so)

So once again, If you have questions, ideas, or things you want us to cover, drop them below. Also feel free to say hi! We’re listening 🫡 and the website should be ready soon for me to share with you all.

Appreciate you being here, and please keep an eye out for future updates regarding pricing and plans as we work to finalize our relationship with our pharmacy partners.

So until we launch, happy tirzing!
