Coral Beauty
So my partner and I bought a coral beauty yesterday and housed it in our 250l Red Sea - it seems to be showing aggression towards our phantom blenny and potentially nipping at our bubbletip anemones (hard to tell if he’s going for the rocks or the nem) we’ve kept the lights off to see if he’ll settle as he is very new to the tank but if not we have a 200l with a young bird wrasse (4”) and a six line with no potential coral to nip at; would this be compatible for CB? Bird wrasse has a great temperament and has never shown any signs of aggression; I’m more worried CB will bully. (We are upgrading bird wrasse tank this is just temporary)
Other option is a 450l but it houses a jewel blenny, bicolour, engineer goby, pink spot, white watchman, coral goby, regal tang, sailfin tang, filefish, a breeding clown pair, x4 chromis, a large boxer shrimp and a large decorator crab as well as lots of soft coral. (zoas, palythoa, kenya’s, mushrooms, bubbletip nem, pulsing Xenia) Could this be a compatible tank if he turns out not to be a coral nipper? It’s generally very docile minus the female clown.
If all else fails we have another 250l we can set up for CB but I’d love to have him in one of our existing tanks, any advice?
