I am a Western Odia but did my schooling and higher studies in Eastern Odisha. My friend circle has ~90% Eastern Odia guys. I have always been treated good by them. We do make casual and non-serious jokes on East vs West. But, it is strictly for fun. On the other hand, apart from my friend circle, the other people of Eastern Odisha are not so comfortable with Western Odias, this is from my experience. I work outside Odisha and whenever I catch up with Odia guys over there, I kind of feel like an outsider.

My question is that, does some sense of discrimination genuinely exist in the mind of Eastern Odias? Feel free to give hate speech. I actually want it to be unfiltered. No pretending, just raw.
