If you’re doing a long fic I implore you to go back and edit-up the first chapters
When you’ve been writing a fic for a really long time you’ll get better at writing, obv, and—as a long fic writer—I was horrified to read my first few chapters and see how many mistakes/chunky sentences I’d left months ago that I’d never do now
