Has anyone gotten their emotions back?

Honestly don’t know how much longer I can do this. Convinced I have permanent brain damage. I’m 21 and I feel totally empty. I don’t enjoy things anymore and my brain doesn’t work the same way. I used to play guitar religiously even with my long covid symptoms but not anymore. Has anyone had their anhedonia improve?

Anyone’s brain shutdown?

A year ago went through horrible stress on top of the stress induced by this disease. This compounded stress caused a sudden change in my personality. I went from fight/flight mode daily with panic attacks + POTS to almost know symptoms besides extreme brain fog and memory impairment and food reactions. Digestive problems also got a whole lot worse and I’ve been trying to fix them the past year. Is it possible that my brain “shut down” as some sort of defense mechanism? Or did I just improve? which wouldn’t really make sense.
