Miss Aster needs some prayers 🙏🏻💛
I found this girl walking my pup about 3 or 4 weeks ago and brought her home with me. She's been the sweetest baby and we absolutely love her. I finally got her into the humane society today to deworm, vaccinate, and schedule her spay but during her check they couldn't hear her heart, and found out her intestines are in her chest cavity (most likely from trauma since she was a stray) and had to take her for X-rays almost immediately. She's scheduled for surgery in the morning and the vet is helping us cover most of the costs which I'm so grateful for because it would have been thousands. There's a high risk for complications but I don't think they would be doing this much to save her if they didn't think it was worth it. I feel terrible that I couldn't afford to take her sooner, but hopefully it was just in time. We also discovered that she's pregnant and had she given birth it probably would have killed her and it could've happened as soon as this weekend. I found her for a reason. She's just a love and she deserves to be home with us so I know she'll get through this. 💛🥺
