Do you still believe there’s hope for the Philippines?

As doctors/HCWs, how do you stay hopeful with everything happening in the government right now?

It’s honestly draining sometimes because we see firsthand how difficult the healthcare system is for patients, yet it still feels like the people in power care more about politics and personal interests than public service.

Because of everything happening in our country, mapapaisip ka na lang talaga about going abroad and serving somewhere else instead. Nakakapagod mahalin ang bansa minsan because of the kind of government we have. :(

Do you think there’s still hope for the Philippines? Or is this just the reality we’ve all become used to?

Hello! For those applying for residency in 2027, may naka-book na ba ng flights around October to December?

I’m planning sana to go on a family trip before starting residency, but I’m worried baka mag-overlap with pre-res or department activities 😅

I want to book early kasi para mas cheaper yung flights, pero not sure if risky ba timing-wise.

Would appreciate hearing your plans or experience! 🙏

btw planning to apply for derm :)
