Crop farms have to be the easiest way to catch livestock

Just had to dig a valley into their pen, and I nearly died once while transporting them! Not even gonna try splitting them up into separate pens for each animal, for now :')

Also there's two deer and some rabbits in here, are they worth keeping?

Pigeon suddenly passed at shelter?

I just received an email this morning that the pigeon I dropped off at Freshfields 'passed away overnight' and I feel really, really conflicted. I had emailed them yesterday asking how he was doing...

They were eating and drinking at my home, they seemed alert on the way to the shelter, how could they have died so suddenly overnight?

Is this normal for young pigeons who are underweight? Do you guys think a shelter would ever lie about euthanizing an animal they could have saved?

I know I sound overly suspicious, I am autistic, I have a hard time trusting strangers... Please understand.

Today while out with my support worker, we saw this pigeon being attacked by a seagull. She literally had him halfway down her throat. I and some other members of public managed to scare off the seagull-

Picked up the pigeon and saw the seagull staring at me, so had the feeling if I put them back down she'd just go back to picking on him... So now there's a pigeon in my flat.

Where do I go from here?

I've put him in an old cage I had, it's 200 x 30cm so not too big. He can't fly and seems puffed up, put some birdseed and water in his cage and some lettuce which he is drinking/eating.

I just hope I did the right thing. I don't know if I could keep him long term, but I know where his flock is and can return him if that's what I should do.

There are also bird rehabs in my city if you guys think that's a better option.

I bought them from a lovely family looking to rehome, I was going to set up a temporary pen but they gave me their old cage.

Is it better to let them settle in this familiar cage, or should I set up a new pen with better space?

I just want to properly bond them with my older piggies first! So I can't put them in my spacious main pen (It's 38~ square foot) just yet...

I have also got C&C grids just in case I end up having to house them separately.

The author of Wolf's rain passed away years back, and some cunt fed their work into AI, and the fans are eating it up. It's so disrespectful to her memory. It's especially insidious to feed a dead womans creations into gen AI for internet attention...

I'm so tired man
