sitting in the campus café and my laptop is literally open in front of me, crumbs from those cinnamon cookies everywhere (i swear they fall apart if you even look at them), and i’m trying to fix the final report for this marketing project
and my teammate—let’s call him jay—just leans over my screen like he owns it and goes “yeah i’ll just submit this version under my name, it looks cleaner”
i just froze for a second like… what
because i spent like 3 nights on this thing, fixing graphs at like 2am while my coffee went cold twice, and he barely even replied in the group chat except “looks good 👍”
and now suddenly it’s his version??
i told him “no, i’m submitting it, i did most of it” and he literally laughed and said “you’re better at the technical stuff anyway, i’ll handle the presentation angle”
like what does that even mean 😭
there was also this random guy behind us playing some loud game on his phone and it made the whole moment feel even more unreal, like i was imagining it or something
and i kind of just sat there like… did he seriously just assign himself credit
i might’ve sounded annoyed because i said “you can’t just take my work” and he goes “it’s teamwork, chill”
teamwork?? sir you sent one emoji
now he’s acting normal again like nothing happened and i’m lowkey questioning if i overreacted but also… no?? i’m still confused honestly

TL;DR: my teammate barely contributed but tried to submit my work under his name, and i stopped him.
